In chopping the top off this Evoque, Land Rover opened its best seller up not only to the sky but also to a widely divergent range of public opinions. Some were confused why anyone would want an SUV with a soft top, or a soft top based on a 4x4. Others simply loved the idea and found this car deeply desirable. The concept cleverly combines capability and versatility with a drop down tailgate and a comfortable four seat package. Based on the three-door Evoque Coupé, it has four seats, a power-retractable soft top roof, 20-inch wheels. Land Rover has stated that: The new convertible body has been achieved with minimum changes to weight and torsional rigidity.
