Situated in the New Forest among trees and horses, this is the real deal. Have just finished my third visit to Sandy Balls and have thoroughly enjoyed each and every stay. The Lodges are wonderful , cosy and warm and beautifully clean. Staff are all so friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

On several occasions we ate The Forest Table. Our family has been to Sandy Balls several times over the last ten years and whilst it remains a very pleasant location on the edge of the New Forest , it has deteriorated. We stayed in one of the wooden lodges which was clean on arrival and had a fantastic outlook. Sandy Balls Holiday Village also includes a fitness centre and both indoor and outdoor pools. Guests can enjoy a barbecue and a restaurant on site.

There is an outdoor cinema and a shared lounge with Sky Sports channels is available. Five spangled stars tell most of the story at Sandy Balls New Forest holiday park, where our accommodation basks in the leafy serenity. It’s a world away from your day to day, with more trees than you can… well, shake a stick at. Delve deeper into our New Forest breaks and you discover the full story. We have resident alpacas, a bush-craft.

Look at Oakdene Forest park, not far from Sandy Balls but was cheaper. Pool looks similar to SB. Sandy Balls is limited to the number of guests that can use the indoor pool at one time for health and safety reasons.

Surrounded by the outstanding natural beauty of the New Forest National Park, Sandy Balls unites an enviable location with an excellent choice of facilities. This means at peak times (some school holidays and bank holidays) guests may have to pre-book a one hour swimming session online before they arrive for their holiday. Good choice on upgrading to a hot tub. Our shop and restaurants are open for business but unfortunately our pools remain closed until we have further guidance on when these can re-open.

I know nothing about the forest holidays but a friend stayed at Sandy Balls in the summer and loved it. Its not far from a place called Moors Valley Country Park which we have been to on many occasion. Pricing and availability may change soon!

Also available evening entertainment for the whole family. Had a fantastic weekend at Sandy Balls. We had a lodge called a Knightswoo with hot tub, the lodge was immaculately clean and it had great facilities. The whole park was set up with distancing and guidance. We had Sophie as our guide, we found out after the walk it was her first time leading the session.

The holiday village offers plenty of amenities, high-quality accommodation and a beautiful location. Whether you enjoy the outdoors or indoors, there is something to suit everyone at Sandy Balls.
