Model engineering show

Like many other organisers we have been watching the criteria for events unfold. The exhibition showcases hundreds off models from societies and individuals for visitors to enjoy along with a wide range of outside attractions, workshops and lectures. Just as in previous competitions, Gol Silver and Bronze Medals were awarde as were certificates for Very Highly Commende Highly Commended and Commended entries.

With over clubs showcasing their models from early traction engines to remote control trucks, this allows visitors to really experience the vast array of models at the exhibition. With over specialist suppliers attending the exhibition, you will be able to find whatever you need to start that new project or finish one you have been working on.

The Racecourse is ideally located in the heart of the UK, within easy reach of Doncaster Railway Station, Robin Hood Airport, and with excellent road links – get directions here. Here, in no particular order, we have the first of three parts looking at just some of the exhibits that caught the eye. The 7¼ inch track is 9feet long, at ground level and runs round the outside of the raised track.

It has been a cracking success with a wide range of models on display and many hobby related items of interest to delight, with traders galore to supply the tools and materials we all need to pursue our interests. We also have trade stands selling tools, materials and finished models. Your prejudices about the average attendee are probably right.

This exhibition is. We have been supplying all types of Metalworking Machine Tools for all applications and size of workshop for over years. Tickets for this event are available at the door.

The Warco range of model engineering lathes. Free Access and Free Parking. On public running days access to the site and parking is FREE. We have regular monthly meetings throughout the year including guest speakers, auctions, social evenings and the occasional visit. The show founder, Clif Roemmich will be displaying his entire collection of models built over the last years.
