Designed to be comfortable and snug all year roun our camping pods provide a perfect alternative to spending the night in a traditional tent.

The pods are carpeted and have electric sockets and the lesiure site has a shop, children’s play area and laundry facilities. Prices starting from just £ per night. A stay in a camping pod is like no other. The surrounding hills and views across the valley are a delight to wake up.

Mickle Moss and White Howe pods are metres apart, Harter and Froswick are metres apart. Both pairs are metres apart across a field. Shower and toilets are within each pod so there are no shared washing facilities. Each pod has plenty of headroom and a floor area of approx metres square, ample space for people or even adults and smaller children. Sitting above the pretty lakeside village of Pooley Bridge, we offer traditional camping , camping pods , luxury lodges and holiday homes plus two fully-equippe year-round self-catering cottages.

Whether you’re looking for a holiday with summer sunshine sparkling on the water or a place to light the fire and look out on frosty hillsides, our unique, inspiring places to stay of a glamping kind are a great way to experience this remote area. In a quiet corner amongst trees our three luxury glamping pods offer a relaxing base with stunning views of Blencathra. Standard Pod : from £per night per pod. Family Pod : from £per night per pod. One family pod is tucked away in an idyllic location by the side of the beck on the main park adjacent to the main camping area.

The remaining are situated on Ghyllside, both with views of the lake and fells. Please note that no beds are fitted to these pods and the use of camp beds or airbeds is recommended. Catapult yourself into an active holiday in an area brimming with things to do, on and off water – windsurfing, cycling, pony rides or rock climbing (to name but a few). This glamping site is located on elevated farmlan meaning that there is not only easy access to many mountain and valley walks, but there are stunning views from almost anywhere you stand.

The camping pods here are made for those with luxury in min and the owners have. Our huts and pods make a great alternative to camping. That extra bit of comfort really can make all the difference!

Glamping (ˈɡlampɪŋ), n. While the shepherds huts have ready installed beds and facilities, the pods are a blank canvas. This is reflected in the cost - with huts being slightly more expensive. The pods are simple, without electricity or furniture, helping you to get back to basics and connect with the superb natural beauty around. The two regular pods (and 2) measure 8ft x 9ft (m x m) and will comfortably sleep adults and small child and the larger family pod measures 11ft x 9ft (m x m) and will sleep adults or a family group.

Camping field A If you prefer to sleep under something more substantial than canvas, we offer eco- pods at Hillcroft Park. Choose from camping pods , wigwams and tipis to make your stay truly comfortable. These look directly out on to Lake Ullswater and have amazing views of the surrounding fells.

Just bring your inflatable beds and everything except your tent! Pods overlooking Ullswater. Some of our camping sites also cater for touring caravans, camper vans and static holiday caravans too.
