Along six miles of way-marked footpaths you will discover hidden valleys, rich in limestone, flowers and tranquil beech woodlands, interspersed with extensive views over Bath and out towards the Blackdown Hills.
Firstly, the name is misleading. This is not a Bath skyline walk. There is a small section where you can see Bath but the walk turns away from Bath and you have a pretty standard walk through fields and woods. Points of interest include the site of an Iron Age hill-fort and the 18th Century folly, Sham Castle. The walk has been devised by the National Trust so takes place on waymarke well maintained footpaths.
